What Types of Work-At-Home Agents Does LiveOps Need?

Currently LiveOps has 4 different Independent Agent programs  available:

 First Notice Of Loss Agents:

These are independent agents that provide front line service to those who have been in an accident, fire, or devastating storm.

Roadside Assistance Agents:

These independent agents will take calls from travelers and provide assistance and/or may provide outbound/inbound sales, and dispatch services.

Licensed life and health insurance agents work from home selling life insurance products over the phone. As an independent agent, you’ll have the opportunity to earn commissions based on sales conversions.

Bilingual Agents:

LiveOps is always looking for bilingual agents to help customers!

What Exactly Is a LiveOps Independent Agent Anyway?

An Independent Agent is a person who contracts with LiveOps under an Independent Contractor Agreement, not as an employee, so you will be responsible for paying required taxes. You’ll work at home providing customer service by phone to customers.

You can start your own licensed business and contract with LiveOps ( Sole Proprietor or LLC) however this is not a requirement. If you do not wish to start your own business, you can still work with LiveOps as a single independent contractor – no business license needed!

You will need to provide your Tax Identification Number. If you are self-employed or have set up your business as a sole proprietorship, you may use your social security number for your Tax Identification Number. If your home business is a corporation, LLC, or partnership, you may use your EIN. Tax law can vary greatly by state, so please check the requirements in your state.

At the end of the year, LiveOps will send all work at home agents a 1099 Form for tax reporting purposes.

So How Much Can I Make Working With LiveOps?

Your income will depend on several factors: the customer service agent programs you choose, the quality of your work, and the volume of service you provide (you will decide how many hours you want to work and when you want to work.). Some clients pay per minute of talk time – generally 25 cents per minute, while others will pay a base rate plus commission, and some programs pay entirely on commission.

You’ll submit your invoices online, and you’ll be paid by LiveOps on the 1st and 16th of each month. LiveOps pays via direct deposit or by check.

What Else Should I Know About This Work At Home Opportunity?

You should know that LiveOps will require you to pass a background and credit check if you are offered a work-at-home opportunity with them. You will need to pay for the background check, ($50) however this is the only fee you will pay – and you only pay if offered a position with LiveOps. This fee is paid directly to the company handling the check, not to LiveOps.

You will also need to verify that you have the correct technical equipment required for this job at home, as well as a completely quiet dedicated office area.

You can schedule your work hours time in blocks as small as 30 minutes, and choose times 24/7 that work best for your business. There is no minimum login or call requirement for the 6 month contract period; however, some individual programs may have a minimum call requirement to remain active on their program.
