XACT Telesolutions offers call center services to businesses nationwide. Currently they have home-based positions available for Inbound Customer Care Professionals. Starting pay is $8.00 an hour, with the maximum pay being $13 an hour. Basic duties involve taking inbound telephone calls, internet chat requests and inbound email requests.
Full time and part time positions are offered, with up to 40 hours per week to start. Hours are from 8am EST (to midnight EST), 7 days a week.
Applicants must speak fluent English, and preferrably Spanish as well. Typing at 35 wpm is also required.
Applicants should have a high speed DSL or cable connection, rated 2 MB down, 384k up (minimum), 5 MB down and 512k up (preferred) There are also other computer/Internet related requirements listed on their job details page.
Agents need to have a dedicated home office space, which is free from distraction, and with a door that can be closed.
Hired agents will be responsible for purchasing a brand recommended USB headset (a list is available from recruitment), approximate price is $40.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time in a chair.
