CenturyLink is a major telecommunications company that offers work-at-home jobs for moms or anyone looking for a telecommute position.. They are currently hiring Sales and Care Representatives for their new wah jobs training classes starting April 1.
Tell Me More About These WAH Jobs!
Newly hired agents will begin training April 1, 2013. Training Classes will last approximately 13 weeks. Training hours are 10am – 7pm EDT, Monday-Friday.
After training, you will be assigned 8-10 hour shifts between the hours of 8 am-7 pm EDT Monday-Friday and 9 am-5 pm on Saturday. (Note: you will be required to work Saturdays – 9 am-5 pm.)
Agents are initially hired as temporary, full-time employees. If you transition to a regular full-time employee, you will then be eligible to receive job benefits. These positions will depend upon availability as well as job performance.
What About Job Duties? What Will I Be Doing?
Representatives will answer inbound calls from current customers as well as potential customers. You should be aware that these wah jobs require selling products and services to customers as well as providing support – so if you are not comfortable with sales, this may not be the job for you!
Other job duties include doing credit reviews, establishing accounts in the billing system, and providing customer service and solutions to problems.
How Much Does CenturyLink Pay?
Employees are paid a base rate of $10.50 per hour. Agents also have the opportunity to earn sale incentives for meeting assigned sales quotas.
What About Qualifications For This Jobs – What Will I Need To Apply?
You must have CenturyLink telephone service as well as CenturyLink High Speed Internet service in order to apply for this job..(This is mandatory.)
It is recommended that you have a separate telephone line from your home service, as the line will be in use during your working period. Privacy ID and Call Waiting must be disabled, and you will also need Unlimited Long Distance (UNLD) during training.A headset, phone and possibly an amplifier will be provided to you by the company after New Hire Training is complete.
What Is The Application Process Like?
After submitting your application, you will be required to complete an online assessment test that takes approximately 60 minutes. This test will become available as soon as you submit your application, will be available for you to take for up to 5 days.
