Amazon is hiring remote customer service agents for the holiday season. Training classes start September 29, 2014. Please note that these are North Dakota home-based jobs, and you must be a resident of North Dakota to apply.
If you are hired, you will first attend 5 weeks of training in Grand Forks, ND (accommodations/travel assistance will be provided for those outside the Grand Forks area) After training, you will work from home in this position.
The schedule during training is Monday-Friday, 8 AM -5 PM. Typical schedules after training include: Sun-Thurs 11 AM-8 PM or Tues-Sat 11 AM-8 PM.
To apply for these positions, you must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service environment, be tech-savvy and used to working on the computer. You will also need strong time-management skills, enthusiasm and have good communication skills. Customer service agents must have a quiet work area at home free of noise and distractions, computer, a high speed internet connection (DSL or Cable) and a land-line phone. If you have young children at home, this job requires you to have dependable babysitters or other daycare arrangements in place during your work hours.
