Do you crave spending a whole Saturday watching twin brothers, cute couples and beginning flippers remodel homes? You could be a design-a-holic, and therefore owe it to yourself to check out this awesome work-at-home opportunity with Havenly.
Who is Havenly (And Why Should I Check Them Out, Exactly?)
Havenly is an online design site where visitors can create beautiful rooms online and then even order the furniture, if they want, to put in their home. With the help of Havenly’s E-designers, anyone can create the perfect room or rooms for their home (just like on those TV shows!)
You, the aspiring interior designer, should check out Havenly because you can apply to be one of those e-designers! (and they are hiring for these remote jobs through-out the United States!)
What About Requirements? Do I Need To Be a Professional Designer Already?
You probably should have some experience in the designing field. However, while they do prefer college-degree applicants, it is not absolutely required either.
Some of the qualities they are looking for in prospective E-designers who want to work for them include:
A strong working knowledge of Photoshop
Familiarity with a variety of home décor retailers and merchandise, including West Elm, CB2, Crate and Barrel, Restoration Hardware, etc.
A solid understanding of what pieces and furniture work for client’s different styles and lifestyle
You are someone who is hard-working, flexible, and willing to do what needs to be done to satisfy the client
A self-starter who needs little direction
Also, while you will be working from home as an online designer, you will still need to have about 30 hours free each week for this job.
How Much Can I Earn Doing This Job?
Designers pay is project-based. Also, keep in mind that if hired, you will be working as an independent contractor (no W-2’s and you are in charge of your taxes.)
I am Interested….What Do I Do Next?
Visit Havenly to get started applying as an E-Designer with them. This will basically consist of answering questions on the application, and submitting your resume. The company will respond to applicants with the next steps needed in the application process!
