MapQuest is currently seeking city experts to contribute to their local city content site, Parachute. You will get paid to blog online about your city, usually between $10-$25 per post.
Successful Writers should be able to write content that is friendly, interesting and shows expertise. In other words, you must really know your city and have interesting things to share about it!
They are also looking for writers who-
Are able to follow guidelines, self-edit their work, and meet deadlines.
Are comfortable using a Content Management System.
Have a fun, authentic and unique quality in their writing style.
Where To Start If You Are Interested
You will fill out the online registration form, and submit your initial application. If you are approved for a contributor account, you may be given a test assignment to complete. If that is approved, you are then eligible to receive future writing assignments.
