You can get paid to test new products and give your honest feedback by joining the McCormick Consumer Testing Program. Please keep in mind that doing these product reviews and taste tests will not provide you with a work from home income, but may give you the opportunity to make a few extra dollars from time to time.
McCormick & Company (think spices!) regularly asks consumers and flavor enthusiasts to be panelists
for the McCormick Consumer Testing program. Many of these paid review opportunities will be completed online, but some may involve attending sessions in person. Consumer panelists may sample a range of food, snacks and beverages, preparing and tasting products at home, or simply completing Internet surveys.
How much you make will be based on the test type and duration.
You may participate in consumer test panels up to four times a year, once every three months. Once you participate in a test, you will not be eligible to be called for the next three months.
Once you register as a consumer tester , you will be entered in their database of registered consumers. McCormick can then determine which individuals potentially meet the demographic requirements of a product being tested. You’ll receive a phone call or email from their unique automated system inviting you to answer some questions for an upcoming consumer test. Once you have answered the questions, the system will inform you as to whether or not you qualify for that specific test. If you are eligible to participate, you will be provided with the session times and you can then choose the one session, if any, which best suits you. Not everyone will qualify for a test, so even if you do not qualify, you will be contacted for future testing opportunities.
( Note: While many tests will be held at the Hunt Valley, Maryland facility, you can also join their database of nationwide consumers that participate in home use tests and Internet surveys only.)
