ETS is hiring work at home online test scorers. For these remote jobs, you will need to meet basic home office requirements as well as various applicant requirements.
Scorers can apply to different exam programs, and each program will have their own specific requirements.
For example, to join the CSU English Placement Test, you must have a Master’s Degree and experience teaching at a California State University.
Scorers for The Test Of English Language will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree and experience teaching ESL classes at the high school or college level.
ESL also has online scoring jobs available for the Praxis 1 and Praxis 11 exams, as well as several other language assessment exams.
You will need to have a computer at home that meets the ETS technical requirements. This cannot be a shared computer for security reasons. You must also provide internet access and have a dedicated phone line for this job.
Generally you will work 4-hour or 8-hour shifts, depending on the volume of tests available for scoring. Weekend shifts may be required.
Finally, all test scorers will receive interactive training and must successfully pass certification before completing the hiring process.
