This is an Independent Contractor position with great flexibility. You are given complete freedom to choose when and how much you would like to work. Pay is competitive and there are no complicated payment schemes or calculations to deal with.
Leapforce At Home agents will invoice Leapforce once per calendar month. Fees to independent agents are paid (via mailed check) within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice.
Some of the requirements applicants should possess include:
- Having in-depth, up-to-date familiarity with American social culture, media, and web culture
- Being an avid user of Twitter with a high level of proficiency
- Be an avid Gmail user with a Google profile
- Have experience with other Google products is preferred
- Have excellent comprehension and written communication skills in English
- Have a broad range of interests, with specific areas of expertise a plus
- Having a university degree or equivalent experience (degrees in-progress are acceptable). Advanced degrees a plus
- Having excellent web research skills and analytical abilities.
- Have an ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- High speed internet access (Cable Modem, DSL, etc.)
- A personal computer running Mozilla’s Firefox web browser, version 3 or higher
- Up to date anti-virus and anti-spyware software
Applicants must pass a two-part qualification exam before becoming a Social Search Engine Evaluator. Part 1 of the exam contains 24 theory based questions. Part 2 of the exam contains 150 simulated evaluation tasks. The exam tests both your theoretical and practical comprehension of search engine evaluation.
The qualification exam is challenging and will require your full attention to complete successfully. It is best to plan to take the exams when you will not have any interruptions from kids, phone calls, etc. Supplied study materials can be used during both parts of the exam. Unfortunately, however, if you fail either part of the qualification exam or fail to complete the exam you will not be permitted to take the exam again.
There are no fees or costs to you to apply or take the exams. It is a popular choice for many people looking to work from home and make decent money, however, so you may find that it takes longer to hear back once your initial application is completed.
