If one of your work at home resources is freelance writing, and you have not already signed up with Textbroker, then you may want to take a look.
First, Textbroker is free to sign up with. Second, you will have a variety of different article topics to choose from. And of course, you work when and how often you choose.
How much you make will depend on your quality rating–which should go up the more you write. The higher your ranking, the more articles with higher pay you have access to.
Textbroker guarantees payment on all articles published, and you can request a payout from your account via Paypal once your account is at $10 or more (I believe this is still the current pay-out level, but please double check if you consider registering with Textbroker.) Payment is based on fixed word rates, and they have a price list you can review.
So go and take a look if you are not familiar with Texbroker, and maybe it will be a fit for your work at home goals.
